Professionals Need to Be Professional Two weeks ago, Mason Greenwood was accused of rape and assault against his now ex girlfriend. Harriet Robson, posted on Instagram pictures and videos of herself bleeding from her face, and bruises surrounding her entire body. End of An Era Coming Soon... As for 2021-22 season, 9 of the 20 clubs playing in the Premier League have a gambling sponsorship in front of their Jersey. Burnley, Crystal Palace, Fulham Leeds, Newcastle, Southampton, West Ham, and Wolves all have gambling companies underneath their crest on their jerseys. Over 45% of thew teams have a gambling sponsor and it's not on one the top 6 teams in the EPL. Even in the Championship, 17 of 24 teams have betting companies as their sponsors. This in total equates to 27 of the top 44 teams in England showcase betting to the millions of viewers (Mirror UK) Two years ago, the House of Lords (Parliament) released a 192 page doctrine of the impact of illustrating gambling to the viewers. Wage Gap in the EPL The English Premier League has a multitude of talent in its league, but that does not mean all of the stars and excellent soccer players are playing on all 20 clubs. There is a major gap when we talk about the amount of money clubs have to spend on its players. The top 6 teams in the English Premier League as far as talent/financial success throughout the years include, Manchester United(580M), Liverpool(558M), Manchester City(549M), Chelsea(469M), Tottenham(445M), and Arsenal(338M). The next closest team financially is Everton, who is over 100M short from Arsenal. Globalization of the English Premier League: By: Brian Mars      Over the most recent years, the EPL has begun to bring in worldwide viewers from countries that haven't really been invested in Football like others. For example, Christian Pulisic has brought such a large fanbase from America to his team in Chelsea. Year after year the EPL has to compete with ratings and viewers against its neighboring leagues like La Ligue or Bundesliga and always the EPL is close within competition. From match-day revenue alone, the EPL generated 599 million British Pounds, and in total revenue got all the way up to 2.3 billion British Pounds during the 2019/2020 season. How is all this money possible to be made? It all starts from the Executive Chairman of the EPL, Richard Masters, and the 20 club shareholders representing each team. Branding and sponsorship are a big part of what makes business in the EPL sustainable and attractive to each respective clubs. All 20 Premier League teams are sponsored by 10 different clothing brands.
